Praia de Benagil

Praia de Benagil is a small beach in the municipality of Lagoa, Algarve, in Portugal. The beach is located close to the internationally famous Marinha Beach and is known for its unique natural process that has resulted in an opening in the ceiling of the Benagil Cave, allowing sunlight to brighten up the grotto and the beach. The Benagil Cave is a popular tourist attraction and the only one that has been eroded both from the side and from the top.
