What to expect

The Citânia de Briteiros is an archaeological site and one of the most expressive protohistoric settlements of the Iberian Peninsula, known for its size, urban form, and developed architecture. It features streets protected by a set of walls, with circular or rectangular dwellings arranged in small blocks. The site has a long history, with occupation dating back to the Late Neolithic and Chalcolithic period, and it was also inhabited during the Atlantic Bronze Age and the Roman Empire. This family's experience:

Activities: We wandered around the remains of very steep cobbled streets and discovered the vestiges of a megalithic city with its rectangular enclosures and the foundations of circular dwellings

Highlights: The bucolic setting was nice. We kept in mind the grandeur of the site and the arrangement of the dwellings allowing families to grow while remaining close to each other ✨
