What to expect
The Oficina Museu, also known as the Workshop Museum, is a unique museum showcasing a wide range of artifacts and traditional Azorean handicrafts. The museum features an impressive collection of life-size store models, galleries, and operational workshops, including a grocer, blacksmith, cobbler, letterpress printer, and loom weaver. Visitors can also explore the owner's personal collections of ephemera, such as stamps, lighters, and seashells, as well as dioramas filled with hand-painted terra cotta figures. The museum is a testament to the creativity and accumulation of one person and offers a fascinating glimpse into the past
