What to expect
Dolphin Bay is located in the Bocas del Toro Archipelago, a group of islands in the Caribbean Sea in the north-west of Panama. The archipelago is composed of reef, mangrove, and seagrass bed ecosystems, and fosters a variety of wildlife, including dolphins, birds, crocodiles, poison dart frogs, and marine turtles. The area is known for its colorful and Caribbean-style clapboard houses, and has a relaxed community of West Indians, Latinos, and resident gringos, with a friendly atmosphere. The major islands of the archipelago have been designated an Important Bird Area, and the archipelago has also been designated as a Hope Spot
