The Kvitenjuk viewpoint offers a stunning view of the Sognefjord, the longest and deepest fjord in Norway. Located in Vestland county, the fjord stretches 205 kilometers inland and reaches a maximum depth of 1,308 meters below sea level. The surrounding cliffs rise almost sheer from the water to heights of 1,000 meters and more, creating a breathtaking landscape. The fjord is surrounded by many islands and islets, and its inner end is southeast of a mountain range rising to about 2,000 meters above sea level. The climate of the inner end of Sognefjorden and its branches are not as wet as on the outer coastline, making it a unique and fascinating place to visit
