What to expect

Fløyen is one of the seven mountains surrounding the city of Bergen, Norway. It offers great hiking opportunities, panoramic views of the city, and a variety of activities for visitors. The mountain is home to a restaurant, a café, and a shop, as well as a playground and a Troll forest, making it a great destination for families. There are several hiking trails, including a short stroll around the lake Skomakerdiket, which is suitable for kids and wheelchair users. Other trails include the hike to Brushytten cabin, which takes about 2.5-3 hours, and the hike across Vidden to Mount Ulriken, which takes about 5 hours. The Fløibanen funicular takes passengers from the city center to the top of the mountain, and there are also opportunities for climbing and ziplining
