What to expect

Breiavatnet is a small lake located in the municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. The lake is very shallow, only a few feet deep, and gets its water from the Kannikbekken stream. A decorative fountain was installed in the middle of the lake in 1924. The lake lies in the city centre of Stavanger, on the border of the boroughs of Storhaug and Eiganes og Våland, and is surrounded by notable landmarks such as the Stavanger Cathedral, the City Park, and Stavanger Cathedral School. The lake is home to various birds, including swans, seagulls, ducks, and sparrows. It is also a popular spot for people to stroll around and feed the pigeons, making it a family-friendly destination. The area has beautiful old buildings and is a nice place to have a stroll
