What to expect
The Lofoten Aquarium is a great place for families to explore the marine life of Lofoten. The aquarium features a variety of fish and sea creatures from the local waters, including sea cucumbers, sea urchins, halibut, and cod. One of the highlights is the daily feeding of otters and seals. The aquarium also has a special exhibit on Northeast Arctic cod, also known as skrei, and a film about the traditional winter fisheries for skrei. Additionally, there is a salmon farm on the dock where visitors can learn about aquaculture. The aquarium has a gift shop and a café with a wonderful sea view, making it a family-friendly destination

First steps in Lofoten
Activities: We visited the Lofoten Aquarium, presenting the local fauna. We learned about salmon farms, how long it takes for a salmon to arrive on our plates, and even got to say hello to the seals
