What to expect

The Lofotr Viking Museum is a historical museum based on a reconstruction and archaeological excavation of a Viking chieftain's village. It features the world's longest reconstructed longhouse, which is 83 meters long and 9 meters high. Visitors can explore the longhouse, see archaeological finds, and learn about the Viking Age. The museum also offers Viking-style dinners, lunches, and other activities such as axe throwing and archery. Additionally, there are craftsmen at work in the Chieftain's House, including a wood carver, textile workers, and a shoe and leather worker. The museum shop offers a wide variety of goods, including historical jewelry, toys, and local food products. The museum is situated in a beautiful natural area, with wild boar, wild sheep, and other animals roaming around the Chieftain's House
