Lindesnes Lighthouse is a coastal lighthouse located at the southernmost tip of Norway. The lighthouse was first built in 1656 and has been rebuilt several times, with the current cast iron tower being constructed in 1915. The lighthouse is 16.1 meters tall and has a granite foundation. It is painted white with a red top and emits a fixed and flashing white light. The lighthouse is also a museum, operated by the non-profit Lindesnes Lighthouse Museum Foundation, and features exhibitions, a cinema hall, and a cafeteria. Visitors can explore the lighthouse and its surroundings, which offer stunning views of the coast and the sea. Nearby, the town of Mandal offers beautiful beaches, such as the 800-meter long Sjøsanden, and family-friendly activities like the Lindland farm, where kids can get up close with animals like sheep, goats, and alpacas
