What to expect

The Kristiansand Cannon Museum is a historical WWII museum that features a German coastal defence battery from 1940-45, with the world's second largest land-based cannon. The museum is located at Møvik Fortress, which was built by the Germans during World War II. The fortress had four gun positions, of which one of the guns is still intact. Visitors can explore the fortress and learn about its history, and also take a ride on the ammunition railway train. The museum is a great place to visit for those interested in history and military equipment
