What to expect

The Pororari River Track is a 6.4km out-and-back trail that follows a spectacular limestone gorge with a river featuring huge rocks and deep pools, and beautiful forest with subtle changes from subtropical to temperate. The track is considered easy and takes approximately 1 hour and 52 minutes to complete. It's a great place for birding, hiking, and running, and offers stunning views of the river gorge and limestone cliffs. A lookout point provides spectacular views, and a suspension bridge is a great spot for a rest and photo stop. The track is open year-round and is suitable for families
