The North Egmont Visitor Centre is a great place to start your exploration of Te Papa-Kura-o-Taranaki, also known as Egmont National Park. You can get information on local tracks and huts, weather and avalanche reports, and purchase quality merchandise, hut tickets, and topographical maps. The centre also provides personal locator beacon hire and has toilets available outside with 24-hour access.
