Bottle Lake Forest is a production forest and recreational park located in Christchurch, New Zealand. The forest consists of Pinus radiata trees and covers 800 hectares of land, stretching from Burwood to Spencerville, and to Pegasus Bay on the East Coast. It includes a number of native understory plants, and different species of bird can be found. The forest is also home to a Fairy Village, where hundreds of fairy homes have been built by families. Visitors can enjoy walking, mountain biking, and horse riding tracks, as well as a BMX course and a trials setup. The forest has a visitor centre that provides information about the park's history and ecology, and there are public toilets and fresh water access available
