What to expect

The Redwoods Treewalk is a 700-meter-long walkway that consists of a series of 28 suspension bridges traversing the gaps between 27 majestic 120-year-old Redwood trees. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking and stunning views from a bird's eye perspective. The walkway is designed to preserve the trees, plants, and surrounding natural environment. The Redwoods Treewalk is suitable for all ages and is a great activity for families. The walk takes around 30-40 minutes to complete, and visitors can enjoy it at their own pace. The Redwoods Treewalk also offers a nighttime experience, where the forest comes to life with colorful lights. Additionally, there is the Redwoods Altitude experience, a guided tour that takes visitors up to 25 meters high, negotiating suspension bridges and ziplines while learning about the history of the Redwoods forest, local bird species, and Māori legend. The place is stroller-friendly, with special strollers available for infants and children. Under 5's can enter for free, and family tickets are available
