What to expect
Auckland Domain, also known as Pukekawa / Auckland Domain, is a large public park in Auckland, New Zealand. The park is the remains of a volcanic explosion crater and tuff ring, with a small scoria cone in the center. It features several sports fields, a cricket pavilion, and the Auckland War Memorial Museum. The park also has a native forest, a fernery, and the Domain Wintergardens, which consist of two large glasshouses exhibiting temperate and tropical plants. Visitors can walk through the park, fly a kite, feed ducks, or follow a trail of outdoor sculptures. Activities: We spent an afternoon there. We explored the area, including the pond with ducks, the stream along 'Lovers Walk,' and the winter gardens. There's a museum at the top of the hill
Highlights: It's a little paradise on Earth! We liked the amphitheatere and the winter gardens. We spent a complete day there and the children loved it. The kids played, and we relaxed ✨
