The Amsterdamse Bos, also known as the Amsterdam Forest, is a large public park located in the municipalities of Amstelveen and Amsterdam. The park is approximately three times the size of Central Park in New York City and features a variety of landscapes, including wet and dry patches, wooded areas, grassland, reed land, and open water. It offers numerous amenities, such as the Bosbaan rowing course, recreational areas, swimming ponds, farms, an open-air theatre, and rental facilities for canoes, kayaks, and bicycles. The park is also home to Scottish Highland cattle and features a petting zoo, a maze, and a pancake restaurant. With its diverse scenery and abundance of activities, the Amsterdamse Bos is a popular destination for both locals and tourists, attracting around 4.5 million visitors annually
