Eersel is a great destination for outdoor enthusiasts and families. The area offers 17 scenic trails, including easy hiking trails and more challenging routes, with beautiful views of the De Kempen nature reserve. Visitors can explore the Forest Ranger Path Cartierheide, a purple-marked trail through the nature reserve, or the Blueberries and Moors route, a blue marked trail with many blueberries and a moor field. For families, there are kid-friendly routes, such as the Discovery Trail, a loop set out by TerSpegelt recreation park, ideal for children aged 6 to 10 years. The park also offers an indoor swimming pool, a petting zoo, and a pump track. In the surrounding area, visitors can cycle on the Black Kaat Route, a 36-kilometre cycle route that takes you past the thrilling history of the ‘Witch of Hellende’ and the centuries-old Postel Abbey
