What to expect

The Garden of Dreams, also known as the Garden of Six Seasons, is a neo-classical garden in Kathmandu, Nepal. It was built in 1920 and features 6,895 square meters of gardens with three pavilions, an amphitheater, ponds, pergolas, and urns. The garden has a formal and axial arrangement of architectural features, with a juxtaposition of formal and informal planting. It was designed by Kishore Narshingh and was originally the private garden of Kaiser Sumsher, a Nepalese field marshal. The garden has been restored and now features a cafe and restaurant, as well as a library. It is a peaceful enclave in the midst of the busy city, with elegant pavilions, ornamental fountains, and lush green lawns. Visitors can stroll along the paths, admire the formal arrangement of trees and shrubs, and gaze into the lotus pond. The garden also hosts folk and classical music concerts and other public events
