Agadir Medina

La Médina d'Agadir is a reconstruction of a typical Moroccan Berber village, built using traditional building techniques and local materials. Visitors can stroll through the alleys and shop in the many small boutiques, taking in the colors, aromas, and bustle of the market. The medina is a magnificent testimony to the region's craftsmanship, with winding streets, narrow passageways, and magnificent arcaded galleries. It showcases the skill of master craftsmen, with works including Amazigh doors, wrought-iron scrolls, moucharabieh, engraved stone, Roman mosaics, and colored stained-glass windows. The medina has an intrinsic role in safeguarding the Amazigh cultural and architectural heritage and passing on ancestral know-how
