Ourika Valley

The Ourika Valley is a valley in the Moroccan High Atlas along the Ourika River, located around 30 km from Marrakech. It is essentially populated by Berber people speaking Shilha and is considered a relatively well-preserved valley, preserving the traditional mountain way of life. The valley offers a gentler climate than Marrakech, with abundant nature and green plants. Visitors can enjoy walks, hikes, and discover the authenticity of Berber rural life.
