Cascades d'Ouzoud

The Cascades d'Ouzoud, also known as the Ouzoud Falls, are a popular tourist destination located in the Atlas Mountains. The falls are 110 meters tall and have a massive flow of water year-round, making for a stunning show of sights and sounds. Visitors can walk around the falls and observe the permanent resident troop of macaque monkeys. The site is an important Moroccan tourist spot, with many campsites, bathing places, small restaurants, and shops selling Moroccan crafts. The falls are surrounded by a verdant valley with olive groves, almond trees, and fig trees. Visitors can follow a looping trail that takes in various viewing platforms, cross rickety wooden bridges, and climb steep, rocky slopes to get up close to the falls.
