Biogradska Gora National Park is a unique and pristine natural area located in the central part of Montenegro, between the Tara and Lim rivers. The park covers an area of about 54 square kilometers and is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including over 2,000 plant species, 150 kinds of birds, and 10 kinds of mammals. The park's main attraction is Lake Biograd, a glacial lake located at the heart of the park, surrounded by untouched forests with trees over 500 years old. Visitors can enjoy hiking, mountaineering, and exploring the park's many trails, as well as taking in the stunning views from the surrounding mountains. The park is also home to several cultural and historical monuments, and offers a range of activities, including fishing, hunting, and picking wild berries

Activities: We visited Biogradska Gora, which has a lake and a forest. We hiked and discovered a snow-covered landscape. We found a Baustelle (construction site) and took a different path. We walked on a Holzsteg (wooden walkway)
Highlights: We loved exploring the Urwald (primeval forest) covered in snow. The children had fun running on the Holzsteg (wooden walkway). We also saw information boards about the fauna and flora and rolled a giant Schneeball (snowball) ✨
