The Ostrog Monastery is a Serbian Orthodox monastery situated against an almost vertical background, high up in the large rock of Ostroška Greda, in Montenegro. It is dedicated to Saint Basil of Ostrog, who was buried here. The monastery is one of the most frequently visited in the Balkans, attracting over 100,000 visitors a year. It represents the meeting place of all confessions: the Orthodox, the Catholics, and the Muslims. The upper monastery houses the Church of the Presentation and the Church of the Holy Cross, while the lower monastery centers on the Church of the Holy Trinity. The monastery is a great place to visit with family and friends, with its unique architecture and stunning natural surroundings
