Activities: We traveled to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, about 120 kilometers northeast of Ulaanbaatar. We drove through the park, heading towards the "strictly protected area" of Khan–Khentii. We saw prairies extending as far as the eye can see, with isolated yurts and herds of horses in freedom

Highlights: The spectacle was magical. We loved the vastness and the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere. "The prairies extend as far as the eye can see, here an isolated yurt like a small white dot in the landscape, there herds of horses in freedom… The spectacle is magical." ✨

Activities: We spent five days in Gorkhi Terelj National Park. We hiked, rode horses, and visited the Genghis Khan Monument. "We explored the park and got a good insight into the different landscapes." The park offers a unique experience with its granite rock formations

Highlights: Riding horses in the park was the highlight! "Riding in Mongolia was our absolute highlight." We loved the open spaces and the feeling of being away from civilization. The children also loved playing with the local kids ✨
