What to expect
Valea Morilor Park, also known as The Valley of the Mills Park, is a recreational hub located in the Buiucani district of Chisinau, Moldova. It features a large lake, walking trails, and various amenities such as the Green Theatre, a day cinema, a children's playground, a beach, and a boat station. The park is also home to several sports facilities, including rowing schools and sports fields. In addition, it has a unique feature - the Cascades Staircase, which consists of 218 steps and surpasses the famous General Potemkin Staircase in Odessa. The park has undergone restoration and renovation works, including the restoration of the rotunda and the Cascades Staircase. Activities: We went to Valea Morilor Park, a large park with a lake and a playground. There's also a small amusement park. "A place that is also great for walking or boating," and we saw little stands selling popcorn, coffee, and cotton candy
Highlights: We enjoyed the playground and the "stairs, which are not easy to go down with the stroller, but they look nice." The kids loved the snacks available at the little stands. It is located about 20 minutes outside the center, so it was a nice getaway ✨
