The surrounding area is stone walls and wooden platforms, allowing for a great view from almost every angle. There's also a rope for swinging and jumping into the cenote. The cenote has a restaurant on site, offering local dishes and beverages. Life jackets are available for rent, and the use of sunblock is forbidden when getting into the cenote.
