What to expect

Cenote X-Batun is a natural sinkhole filled with freshwater, located near the town of San Antonio de Mulix, part of the municipality of Uman. It's an open cenote with a deep and elongated cave, suitable for professional diving. The surrounding vegetation provides shelter for various bird species, making it a suitable spot for birdwatching. The cenote is shallow in parts but also several meters deep in some areas, and its crystal-clear waters are home to fish, frogs, and other small aquatic life
