Bahia Petempich

Bahia Petempich, located in the Riviera Maya region, is a beautiful bay with long expanses of sand and turquoise waters. Historically a fishing village, the area has recently seen growth with new hotels and resorts. The bay offers a 5.6-km out-and-back trail that is great for walking and is generally considered an easy route. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. The area is also home to the Parque Nacional Arrecife de Puerto Morelos, which protects the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world.
