Parque Fundadores

Parque Fundadores is a popular park in Playa del Carmen, considered the heart of the city. The park offers a variety of activities and attractions, including a beautiful beach, a playground for children, and a range of cultural events and performances, such as the Voladores de Papantla. Visitors can also see the iconic Portal Maya statue, a 16-meter-high bronze sculpture that pays homage to the Mayan civilization. Additionally, the park is home to the Nuestra Señora del Carmen church, a pretty white stucco building that hosts weddings and other events
