What to expect
Teotihuacan is an ancient Mesoamerican city located in the State of Mexico, known for its significant architectural achievements, including the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon. The city was once the largest in the Americas, with a population of at least 25,000, and was a major cultural and economic center. Teotihuacan was also a major exporter of fine obsidian tools found throughout Mesoamerica. The city's collapse is still a subject of debate, but its influence can be seen in the many sites throughout Mesoamerica that show evidence of Teotihuacano presence. Activities: We took a taxi to the pyramids at Teotihuacan. We climbed the Pyramid of the Sun, looked down on the Avenue of the Dead and across to the Palace of Quetzalpapalotl. The twins enjoyed sliding down the pyramid on their bottoms
