Zomba is a city in southern Malawi, located in the Shire Highlands. It was the former capital city of Malawi and is known for its British colonial architecture and its location at the base of the dramatic Zomba Plateau. Today, Zomba is a university town, home to Chancellor College, a constituent campus of the University of Malawi.
