The site also features several pedestrian circuits, including the Antsamanavaka circuit, which allows visitors to see lakes, crocodiles, medicinal plants, and teak forests. The mountain is a former volcano and owes its name to Captain Pierre Passot, who was part of the French marine army artillery. The area is known for its exceptional biodiversity and offers opportunities for birdwatching and exploring the surrounding landscape
