Parc National d'Isalo is a national park located in the Ihorombe Region of Madagascar. The park is known for its unique sandstone landscape, which has been eroded into rocky outcrops, plateaus, and canyons. The park is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including the endemic tree tapia (Uapaca bojeri) and numerous narrowly endemic plant species. The park is also home to the Bara people, a nomadic tribe that has traditionally inhabited the area. The park was created in 1962 and has been administered by the Madagascar National Parks authority since 1997
