The Parnidis Dune is a 52-meter-high drifting coastal sand dune on the Curonian Spit, southeast of Nida, Lithuania. It is almost entirely bare and offers fantastic views of both the sunrise and sunset over the Baltic Sea. The dune is part of a chain of semi-permanent sand dunes and has multiple viewpoints of the surrounding waters and the Grobšto national nature reserve. The dune's surface is protected and has a unique corrugated look, with a variety of flora such as marram grass, sand ryegrass, and wood small-reed. Visitors are asked to adhere to the signs of permitted walking routes and areas to protect the unique landscape and its natural inhabitants
