The Turaida Museum Reserve is a national museum located in Sigulda, Latvia. It is the most visited museum in Latvia and offers expositions on the history of archaeology, culture, and art, narrating events dating back to the 11th century. The museum reserve is situated in the historical centre of Turaida, which includes a hill fort with the foundations of a wooden castle, a Medieval stone castle, a church, a cemetery, and other historical buildings. The reserve also features 38 museum exhibitions, which tell the story of the past millennium in Turaida. The museum is family-friendly, offering activities for children, guide services, a cafe, workshops, and souvenirs. The historic centre of Turaida received the European Heritage Label in 2022, recognizing its cultural and historical significance
