The Latvian Railway History Museum is a railway museum with expositions in Riga and Jelgava, dedicated to the history of railway and its development in Latvia. The museum has the largest collection of wide-gauge vehicles in the Baltics. The Riga exposition is located in 19th-century locomotive repair shops and contains more than a thousand railway-related items, including samples of uniforms, tickets, train schedules, and other things related to the Latvian Railway. Outside the museum premises, railway rolling stock can be seen, including locomotives, wagons, and other railway equipment. The museum also features an open-air exhibition of rolling stock, with locomotives from various historical periods, train cars, and railway maintenance machinery
