Kronvalda Park is the oldest park in Riga, covering 13 hectares and featuring over 100 species of foreign trees and 22 local plants. The park has a rich history, initially being a forested area and later used as a training and hunting ground by the German Riflemen Society. Today, it is a popular spot for recreation and entertainment, with a playground, café, underground parking lot, and roller skating tracks. Visitors can also rent boats and water bicycles during the summer.
