The Kuwait Towers are a group of three thin towers in Kuwait City, standing on a promontory into the Persian Gulf. They were built in a style considerably different from the other five groups of the Kuwait Water Towers system and are regarded as a landmark and symbol of modern Kuwait. The main tower is 187 metres high and carries two spheres, with a water tank, restaurant, café, lounge, and reception hall. The upper sphere completes a full turn every 30 minutes and holds a café. The towers are covered in approximately 41,000 enameled steel discs in eight shades of blue, green, and gray, arranged in spiral patterns, recalling the tiled domes of historic mosques

Activities: We drove to the Kuwait Towers to see the sunset. We visited in the evening. There is a restaurant where we could have a coffee. Afterwards, we visited the beach, but it was already quite chilly, so we took a taxi back to the city center
