What to expect

The Giraffe Centre is a nature sanctuary located in Lang'ata, approximately 20 kilometres from the centre of Nairobi, Kenya. It was established to protect the vulnerable giraffe found only in the grasslands of East Africa. The main attraction for visitors is feeding giraffes from a raised observation platform. The centre is also home to several warthogs that freely roam the area along with the giraffes. It's a great place for families to visit, especially for families with children, as it offers a fun and educational experience. Visitors can get up close to the giraffes and feed them, making it an exciting and memorable experience
