Altyn-Emel National Park is a national park in Kazakhstan, known for its unique natural sites, including the Singing Dune, a 1.5 km long and 120 m high barchan dune that emits a rumbling sound when the wind blows, and the Aktau mountains, a unique open-air geological museum with massive sedimentary deposits of an ancient ocean. The park also features the Katutau lava mountains, the result of intense volcanic activity, and the Kosbastau oasis with warm underground springs and a 700-year-old willow. The park is home to various landscapes, including sand desert, mountains, and flora, and serves to preserve rare and endangered plant and animal species. Visitors can explore the park's many attractions, including the Besshatyr necropolis, a historical monument of Saka mounds, and the Tanbaly Tas petroglyphs, which date back to the Bronze Age. The park offers several tour routes, including routes to the Singing Dune, the Aktau mountains, and the Katutau mountains

Activities: We visited Altyn Emel National Park, which has dramatic red and brown mountains and brush-filled dessert valleys. We took a walk through a canyon to stretch our legs and take in the scenery and climbed the Singing Dunes, a large sand dune that makes a singing sound when the sand slides
