What to expect

Kerak Castle is a medieval castle located in the city of Al-Karak, Jordan. The castle is one of the three largest castles in the region and is situated on a hilltop about 1,000 meters above sea level. It is surrounded on three sides by a valley and has a view of the Dead Sea. The castle has been inhabited since at least the Iron Age and has been an important city for the Moabites. It is home to some of the oldest Christian communities in the world, dating back to the 1st century AD. The castle was built by the Crusaders in the 12th century and was later taken over by Saladin's armies. Today, it is a popular tourist destination and a great place to visit with family and friends to learn about its rich history
