The street is also famous for its traditional food, such as ningyo-yaki, a small cake filled with red bean paste, and senbei, a type of Japanese cracker. The shops are decorated with traditional lanterns and green tiled rooftops, giving the street a unique and colorful atmosphere. At night, the street is transformed with beautiful mural paintings on the shutters of the shops, depicting the history of Sensoji Temple and seasonal events.
