What to expect
The Tokyo Toy Museum is a hands-on indoor playground for children of all ages, housed in a former elementary school building. The museum has a collection of over 10,000 toys from both Japan and around the world. Each space has a different theme, including a dedicated playroom for babies, wooden toys, analog games, and old toys. Visitors can play with toys, learn about traditional Japanese games, and participate in craft activities. The museum also offers a toy workshop where visitors can create toys from recycled materials. The museum is a great place for families to visit, with facilities such as breastfeeding and nappy-changing facilities, and a relaxation space
