What to expect

The Museum of Maritime Science is a large museum dedicated to the culture of sea and ships. The museum has an annex exhibition hall and an outdoor exhibition, both of which boat lovers are sure to enjoy. Exhibits include models of ships, the seafloor topography of Japan's oceans, and various video exhibits. Visitors can also board the Soya, the first Antarctic research vessel. The museum's building is modelled after the British ocean liner Queen Elizabeth 2
