Chidorigafuchi is a 700-meter-long lush green walkway along the moat of the Imperial Palace, and one of the top spots in Tokyo for viewing cherry blossoms. The area is flanked by hundreds of sakura trees of differing varieties, which are illuminated at night during cherry blossom season, creating a romantic atmosphere. Visitors can stroll under a canopy of cherry blossoms, rent a rowboat to explore the moat, or attend the Chiyoda Sakura Festival. The park is also surrounded by fresh greenery in summer and changing colors of leaves in the fall, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll.
