Amanohashidate is a pine-covered sandbar that spans the mouth of Miyazu Bay in northern Kyoto Prefecture. It is one of Japan's three scenic views and is known for its beautiful white sand beaches and lush pine trees. The sandbar is 3.3 km long and covered with about 7,000 pine trees. Visitors can walk or bike along the sandbar, enjoy the views from the mountains on either side of the bay, or take a sightseeing cruise around the bay. There are also several attractions nearby, including Kono Shrine, Chion-ji Temple, and a theme park. The area is popular for cycling and hiking, and there are several hotels and ryokans in the area that offer comfortable accommodations and amenities such as hot spring baths and restaurants
