What to expect
Chirihama Nagisa Driveway is a unique 8-kilometer sandy beach where visitors can drive their cars. The beach is located on the western edge of the Noto Peninsula and offers a scenic drive along the Sea of Japan. The sand is packed enough to support not only automobiles but also motorcycles and bicycles. Visitors can park their cars and wade in the water, search for seashells, or enjoy the sunset. Food stalls are available during spring and fall, selling grilled shellfish and local delicacies. The beach is also suitable for swimming and attracts visitors during the summer. Additionally, the fine-grained sands make it possible to create impressive sand sculptures, which can be seen from May to November. Visitors can also rent bicycles, such as the Beach Cruiser, to enjoy the beach and its dynamic waves
