Himeji Japanese Toy Museum

Himeji Japanese Toy Museum
This family's experience:

Activities: We spent 3 hours at the museum, testing, playing, and exchanging with an adorable owner. We explored the toys from the 1960s/1970s to the 2000s, finding Club Dorothée characters and a Poly Pocket version Pokémon house. We also saw thematic exhibitions, including dolls displayed for Hina Matsuri and a collection of toys from around the world

Highlights: We loved the warmth of the welcome and how it brought us back to childhood. The exhibitions were of high quality, showcasing beautiful and poetic objects. The toys from the 1960s to the 2000s were hyper fun. It was very nice to see that the Japanese are very good in the design of their toys ✨
