What to expect
The Fukuoka Municipal Zoo and Botanical Garden is a zoo and botanical garden that offers a variety of exhibits and activities for visitors of all ages. The zoo features about 700 animals with a total of 160 species, including rare species such as the tapir and red panda, as well as more common animals like rabbits and goats in the petting corner. The botanical garden has over 1,300 types of outdoor garden plants and a greenhouse with over 1,200 plant species. The zoo also has a play area with a miniature Ferris wheel, merry-go-round, and other rides, making it a great place for families to visit with their children. Additionally, the zoo has a petting area where visitors can interact with the animals, and the botanical garden is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the scenery
